Beyond the tacos there are tortas, burritos, quesadillas, campechanos, and the Alambre Especial that regulars keep steering new folks toward. Portions run generous for what you pay, and the kitchen stays open late, past midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, which makes it one of the few solid options once the after-dark cravings hit. The reputation is loud and specific. Regulars call it some of the best tacos in the county, and more than a few will tell you they drive in from as far as Asheville just to eat here. The fun part is sorting out your own order, whether that turns out to be the alambre, a torta de asada, or the cabeza the truck is quietly known for.

On the west side of Greenville, along the White Horse Road stretch, Taqueria las Palmas has built a name as the taco truck to beat.
